Welcome to Rental, operated by UAE Automotive. These Terms & Conditions govern your use of our vehicle rental services, website (https://rental.uaeautomotive.com), and all related platforms. By accessing or using our services, you agree to comply with these terms. If you do not agree, please refrain from using our services.

1. Definitions

In these Terms: “We,” “Us,” or “Our” refers to UAE Automotive, the operator of Rental; “You” or “Your” refers to the user, renter, or customer; “Services” means vehicle rental, booking, payment, and support services provided via our platform.

2. Booking and Reservations

All reservations are subject to vehicle availability and confirmation via email or SMS. A valid driver’s license, credit card, and proof of insurance (if required) must be presented at pickup. Bookings may be modified or cancelled per our cancellation policy, with applicable fees outlined during checkout.

3. Eligibility and Driver Requirements

You must be at least 21 years old (25+ for premium vehicles), hold a full, valid driver’s license for at least 12 months, and meet our insurance requirements. International drivers must present a valid license and, if required, an International Driving Permit (IDP).

4. Payments and Fees

All charges—including rental fees, insurance options, taxes, and optional extras—are displayed before confirmation. Payments are processed securely via Stripe or approved gateways. Late returns incur additional hourly/daily charges. Unauthorized use or violation of terms may result in immediate termination and liability for damages.

5. Vehicle Use and Restrictions

Vehicles must be used lawfully and within the UAE. Off-road use, racing, transporting hazardous materials, or use outside permitted zones is strictly prohibited. Smoking, pets (unless pre-approved), and unauthorized passengers are not allowed unless specified in your booking.

6. Insurance and Liability

Rental includes basic third-party insurance. Optional comprehensive coverage (CDW/TP) is available at booking. You remain liable for damages, theft, or loss resulting from negligence, violation of terms, or excluded activities. Claims must be reported within 24 hours of incident.

7. Cancellation and Refunds

Cancellations made more than 48 hours before pickup qualify for a full refund. Cancellations within 48 hours incur a 25% fee; within 24 hours, 50%. No refunds apply after vehicle pickup unless due to verified mechanical failure or our operational error.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on https://rental.uaeautomotive.com—including logos, text, images, and software—is owned by UAE Automotive and protected under UAE and international copyright laws. Unauthorized use or reproduction is prohibited.

9. Limitation of Liability

We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from service use. Our total liability is limited to the amount paid for the affected rental period.

10. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Dubai, UAE, or via binding arbitration administered by the Dubai International Arbitration Centre (DIAC).

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms periodically. Changes take effect upon posting at https://rental.uaeautomotive.com/terms-conditions. Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance. Last updated: March 15, 2025.
